Interlude Design has been established since September 2002, and a family business run as a partnership between Amanda Hartmann and Clark Sim. We have been designing websites for over twelve years and combined we have a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Our designer graduated from university with a first rate degree in multimedia studies and has gone on to receive awards for his work. He also has vast experience in pc building and it training.

A website is not only for selling a product or service but it can also be used for advertising your business, giving location and direction information by means of a Google map. What we need to know
Once you have decided that you need a website we will need some information from you. Firstly you will need to decide what package will best suit you business, you will then need to choose a template. Once you have done this you will need to supply us with the Colours, Fonts and Sizes of text you require and also the wording you require. You will also need to think about what photographs you would like displayed. You can provide this by email, fax or post. Now that we have this information we can create your website.
What do it mean?
Website Pages
A Webpage is a page within the website that is viewable by visitors and contains information. It is possible to increase or
decrease the number of pages that you require. There is no maximum number of pages .
Photos
Images that are displayed on the website, these images can be static, or there is an option for them to be able to enlarge. For this you would click on the image in question and a new larger image would appear. It is possible to increase or decrease the number of photos per page.
Photo Galleries
An extra page excluded from your page entitlement that will contain all the photos you require.
Online Shop
A area within the website that allows you to sell your items online. You will be able to edit and update this as you like.
Contact Form
A page on the website that allows visitors to contact you by using the form. This usually consists of name, email address and comments. However more fields cane be added.
Message Board and Guest Book
This is a page on the website where your visitors can leave you feedback, comments or just let you know that they were there.
Flash Intro Page
When you type in your website address and go to the website, before the homepage appears, there will be in intro page.
Search Engine Submission
Search engines are like a telephone directories for websites. We will submit your site to these for you.
Memory Stick
A memory device that stores information.
PDF Documents
Any document that you have created, can be converted in to a PDF. This allows you to have it on your website for your visitors to download or view.
Email/Telephone Support
We will provide support for you via email or telephone if you were ever to require it.
Annual Maintenance
Maintenance allows you to keep your website up to date.
Domain Name
This is what you will know a www.yourbusinessname.co.uk for example.
Hosting
In order for you to have a site on the internet you will have to have a place to store it.
Add to Favourites Icon
A clickable icon / button that allows your site to be added to your visitor favourites.
Google Map
Having a Google map on your website gives your visitors a helpful way to locate and get directions to your business.
Site Map
This is like a contents page, it lists all the pages within the website.
