Run-In: Do not over-rev the engine during the break in period which is 3 tank-fulls of fuel. Remember to change the engine oil after the first tank-full of fuel. It will have run-in oil in it from the factory which is not for extended use. Also the first oil change ensures any metal particles in the oil due to running-in a new engine are removed to avoid any premature engine wear. Use 15W/40 motorcyle oil.
