The ideal candidate will tick all of the following boxes: Have a clean full driving licence Experience of driving and maintaining 7.5t trucks. Good communication and administration skills Knowledge of DFT rules and regulations. Experienced in using digital and analogue tachograph systems The main duties are as follows: •To deliver kit and crew to site when parking is not permitted •To chauffeur staff to site visits •To collect kit that is hired from suppliers •To be responsible for any hired in vehicles •To clean and maintain all vehicles (6) •To tax and MOT all Fisher vehicles •To arrange 6/8 weekly checks for 7.5 tonne trucks •To assist the Transport Manager with any vehicle insurance claims •To assist with the admin of freelance driver Tachos. Hours of work Are based upon 09.00hrs – 17.30hrs Monday to Friday. Salary It is expected that a driver will earn from £17,000-18,000.00 per annum. The successful candidate will need to be CTC and CRB cleared, which will be undertaken internally once they have started.
