This is a beautiful yellow and black Fire Salamander and full set up. He (well, his name is Abraham but I do not know the sex) is about 2 years old, and approx 8cm tip to tail (might grow a bit more but definitely not more than 12cm). Good eater, but not greedy, probably eats 10 standard sized crickets per week. Selling him due to lack of space but he has been well loved and is a fun chap to watch. I am selling with him the whole set up, so he is ready to be loved somewhere else. This includes a 30x30x30cm Exoterra viv (RRP £35), some bark (for hiding under), substrate and a large water bowl (RRP £10). Fire Salamanders are Amphibians, not technically lizards but they act and look the same, the only real difference is they have a different feel to their skin; it’s smooth and shiny apposed to scaly. The GREAT thing about a Fire Salamander is because he is not a lizard he does not need a heat mat/heat lamp/UV lamp, just keep his viv in the house at normal temperature and he is happy, therefore he makes a fab starter reptile. |
