The box is solid oak retaining its original recessed hardware and key.This is an amazing set. Aucoc was established in the begining of the 19th century and was the favorite jewelry and silver supplier to the house of King Louis Philippe,the family of Orleans and also Napolean lll also Emperous Eugenie.
