It's best not to wash your hair on the day because freshly shampooed hair may not hold the style so well. If it is freshly washed, just spray some hairspray through it to give it a bit of hold. 2. Take a section at the front and clip it out of the way. 3. Put your hair into a high ponytail. 4. Take a small piece of the hair and wrap it around to conceal the band and secure it with a grip. 5. Using a tail comb or your finger, take a small section of the hair and comb it through. 6. Back comb this section at the root and smooth over the top. 7. Loop the section over your hand, loop it over your finger, twist around and pin into place. 8. Continue to take small sections of the hair, twist and pin into position using grips. 9. Release the top section and pin into position. 10. Use the end of the section to loop around and finish the style. 11. Use your comb again and some hair spray to tuck in any loose ends. 12. If your hair is much longer you can loop these ends again to create more curls. 13. You can use pretty combs and clips to cover the grips and add sparkle to the style. 14.
