Urgently looking for a new (experienced) home for this placid giant, I will be sorry to see him go, but its not fair keeping him cramped in his present 4ft tank, he'd be lovely to watch happy in a very large tank. These have been nicknamed as the VEGETARIAN Pirhana, gentle giant....would go great with other smaller or even large community fish, is at the moment with Malawi's which was fine when they were small, but now bigger have started to fin nip my poor giant who now just accepts it coz he's way too slow to get away. I don't have the room anymore for setting up another tank to part them, so am HOPING someone out there with a big enough tank would be kind enough to offer Mr Pacu a loving new home far away from biting malawi ciclids, PLEASE!!
Also selling up on Malawi's, since seeing that behaviour, not too keen on the breed anymore. Small - Large (approx. 50) no reasonable offer refused, approx. 8 x fish tanks ranging from 2 ft - 4x3x2.5' and accessories also ... all for sale v. cheap email for details if you are interested. 3 x 3ft full set ups stand + lids/lights etc/gravel/rocks etc....
Large amount of Coral sand/gravel speciality base layer required by malawis/expensive essential calcium rocks
