extremely talented female african grey parrot free to good home

My husband and I have a beautiful female African Grey Congo that we can no longer home.she has probably close to 50 normal sayings but she repeats things all the time. she comes with a very large plexi glass cage (the top is metal rods so she can climb), a box of treats, peanuts, food, and all of her toys. The cage is great because there is no mess around the cage since she can't spit food outside of it. We really hate to get rid of her because she is extremely smart and sweet but we have no choice. contact us for more information on ogadigwe225 (at) Hotmail. com,

Charismatic people needed!

Do you have charisma? Are other people drawn to your compelling and bewitching presence? I am seeking men and women who possess charisma to participate in an art work for an exhibition at a London gallery in September. The charismatic person would be required to visit the exhibition and fill it with their charismatic and irresistible presence. There are no specific qualities I am looking for other than you believe you have a charismatic personality; able to charm and captivate others and make your presence felt. You might be outgoing, reserved or quietly confident or anything in between, as long as you possess that X-factor that makes for a charismatic personality that fills the room.

I am looking for fifteen charismatic people to make this art work. Each person will visit the gallery separately. There is no time limit to your visit - you can take as much or as little time as you want, as long as during your time in the exhibition, you attempt to fill the space with your charismatic and irresistible presence, in any appropriate way.

To participate you would need to be available on one day during the first two weeks of September.

This is a voluntary opportunity but you will be given £25 to cover expenses and travel.

Be a voluntourist in Indonesia

The International Humanity Foundation is looking for volunteers to serve at our centres in Jakarta, Bali, Aceh and Medan, Indonesia, and be friends and teachers to our children. By bringing together disadvantaged children of Indonesia and volunteers from across the world, there is a learning opportunity for both. As both sides discover more about each other, their lives and their cultures and teach their own friends about this, we hope to create a world of greater understanding and compassion. Unlike our other centers, the one is Bali is not an orphanage but only an education center. No children stay there, but many come for the classes held there.

Work

Serving as a voluntourist is an amazing learning opportunity, both about the challenges of poverty and the workings of an international non-profit organization. Through one-on-one time with the children, you will learn intimately about the international issues of education, human rights, abuse and poverty. Depending on the center you serve at, you will also learn about local issues such as tribal rights, land ownership, citizen status and tribal conflicts. Work is tailored to the age of the voluntourists. Young children are encouraged to simply play with our children while teens and adults may be expected to teach classes and lead unique activities.

IHF needs people with all skills. No matter your experience, whether a student or retired professional, IHF needs you. At the centre, volunteers divide their time between playing with and teaching the children and working on international projects. The centre host English, computer and math classes, and the children often seek tutoring for their homework, all tasks which volunteers take part in. You may also choose to participate in international work in the administration of IHF which will teach you how an international non-profit operates on a day-to-day basis.
It is important to note that these are intensive experiences. Once at the center, IHF requires its voluntourists to work four hours a day at the center, six day a week. There is time to sightsee and tour the nation, but work is always the first priority. IHF depends on its volunteers to function and to love the children. If you are not prepared to devote this time to work, you should look elsewhere for your service experience.

Cost: IHF is committed to offering a flexible, affordable service experience. There is no application fee, and the weekly fees for individual, couple and family voluntourists are all only USD $250 to cover the costs for their room and board, both very simple, at the center. Only married couples and immediate family will be allowed to room together due to strict cultural codes.

Volunteer Type: Building schools, community development, childcare/children, culture, curriculum planning, disability issues, economic development education, English teaching, health, health care, health education, homelessness, hospital, housing, human rights, literacy, marketing, medicine, nutrition, orphans, popular education, primary education, street kids, teaching, women, water, writing, youth, youth development, academic reinforcement, AIDS/HIV, appropriate technology

Typical Volunteer: Our volunteers have a passion for immersion in foreign cultures, an openness to new experiences and flexible approach to work. At our centres they will work with local staff and directly with the local population in conditions very different from the Western world. Special projects constantly arise, from moving food during famine feeds to monitoring children during breaks. Our volunteers have a lot of say in what they do and designing projects as long as it is approved by the director and promotes the mission of IHF.

Available To Participants: World wide

Typical Living Arrangement: Group living

Participants Travel: Independently

Typically Participants Work: Independently or in groups, depending on site

Application Requires: Resume, online application

Qualifications:

Volunteers with IHF must speak English fluently and have a great attitude. They must also be mature, responsible, team players, fast learners, flexible and interested in global change through education and service.

Most importantly, our volunteers must have an open heart and a willingness to help others and a passion to make a difference!

Mission Statement:

IHF focuses on educating and feeding children who come from the most marginalized and disadvantaged backgrounds. IHF has set up orphanages in Kenya, Indonesia and Thailand. We seek to provide a way for children to get an education that they desperately desire and are not able to receive. By educating and teaching these children that they are significant and competent, we also teach them that everyone has a voice that matters. IHF promotes self-sufficiency in the communities we work in, primarily focusing on the education, nutrition, and care of children. IHF encourages understanding and caring between people of all nations and religions in order to better prepare the leaders of future generations. We believe that by promoting communication and understanding between students from the poorest of the poor and students in America, we will all be better educated by this exchange. We desire for every student in the United States to have communication with students abroad who are different both culturally and socioeconomically, in order for all students to be educated about the world they live in.

Be a voluntourist in Kenya

The International Humanity Foundation is looking for volunteers to serve at our orphanage and education centre in Nakuru, Kenya, and to be friends and teachers to our children. By bringing together the disadvantaged children of Kenya and volunteers from across the world, there is a learning opportunity for both. As both sides discover more about each other, their lives and their cultures and teach their others what they learned in this exchange, we hope to create a world of greater understanding and compassion. Our centre in Kenya also has a close relationship with the Pokot tribe and goes on regular famine feeds to support it.

Unlike our other centers, the one is Bali is not an orphanage but only an education center. No children stay there, but many come for the classes held there.

Work

IHF needs people with all skills. No matter your experience, whether a student or retired professional, IHF needs you. At the centre, volunteers divide their time between playing with and teaching the children and working on international tasks. The centre host English, computer and math classes, and the children often seek tutoring for their homework, all tasks which volunteers take part in.

All directors lead on one or more of our international task teams such as university relations, photography and child watch. To qualify to work at a centre, volunteers must complete eight hours of work on one of the teams, and they continue to participate on the team once at the centre. In the rare case where you lack the ability to complete these hours but possess certain trade skills in agriculture, construction or others needed at one of our centres, you may be exempt from these pre-trip hours. If this is the case, be sure to immediately get in contact with the centre director to discuss your situation and possible alternative tasks.

It is important to note that IHF strictly requires its directors to work eight hours a day (four hours at the center and four hours online), six days a week. If this work is not completed, you will be dismissed from your position. As an entirely volunteer-run organization, IHF depends upon its members to contribute to the day-to-day operations, both locally and internationally. Without these daily hours, IHF would cease to function, so directors must be deliberate in their use of time. This is not a vacation. Directors are expected to work hard.

Cost: Except for the initial transport to the center, directors are not responsible for any costs.

Salary / Pay: Directors must commit to serve at least a year at the center. For the first three months, they are paid a living stipend of USD $120. At the end of this training period, the monthly stipend increases to USD $160. Directors are expected to work eight hours a day, six days a week, and have one long weekend every month. Additionally, directors are provided with a simple, private room, often furnished with only a bed, at the center and have the opportunity to eat all of their meals at the center with the children. Directors are responsible for paying for any special treats or outside meals they might wish to buy.

Admittedly, this is little pay for demanding work, but IHF is only looking for those who genuinely want to help children and who seek no financial benefit for themselves. This low stipend also assures that the greatest amount of money goes toward the children, the most important part of IHF.

Volunteer Type: Building schools, community development, childcare/children, culture, curriculum planning, disability issues, economic development education, English teaching, health, health care, health education, homelessness, hospital, housing, human rights, literacy, marketing, medicine, nutrition, orphans, popular education, primary education, street kids, teaching, women, water, writing, youth, youth development, academic reinforcement, AIDS/HIV, appropriate technology

Typical Volunteer: Our volunteers have a passion for immersion in foreign cultures, an openness to new experiences and a flexible approach to work. At our centres they work with local staff and directly with the local population in conditions very different from the Western world. Special projects constantly arise and include moving food during famine feeds to monitoring children during breaks. Our center directors have a lot of say in what they do as long as it is approved by the president and follows the mission of IHF.

Available To Participants: World wide

Typical Living Arrangement: Group living

Participants Travel: Independently

Typically Participants Work: Independently or in groups, depending on site

Application Requires: Resume, written application

Qualifications:

Volunteers with IHF must speak English fluently and have a great attitude. They must also be mature, responsible, team players, fast learners, flexible and interested in global change through education and service.

Most importantly, our volunteers must have an open heart and a willingness to help others and make a difference!

Volunteer to help children in Indonesia

The International Humanity Foundation is looking for work-study volunteers to serve at our centres in Jakarta, Aceh and Medan, Indonesia, and be friends and teachers to our children. By bringing together disadvantaged children of Indonesia and people from across the world, there is a learning opportunity for both. As both sides discover more about each other, their lives and their cultures and teach their own friends about this, we hope to create a world of greater understanding and compassion.

Work

IHF needs people with all skills. No matter your experience, whether a student or retired professional, IHF needs you. At the centre, work-study volunteers divide their time between playing with and teaching the children and working on international projects . The centre host English, computer and math classes, and the children often seek tutoring for their homework, all tasks which work-study volunteers take part in.

The IHF work study program is an intensive learning experience. It provides you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with an international non-profit and in myriad scenes of poverty. All volunteers participate on one or more of our international task teams such as university relations, photography and child watch. To qualify to serve at a centre, volunteers must complete 12 hours of work on one of the teams, and they continue to participate on the team once at the centre.

It is important to note that these are intensive experiences. Even before your arrival at the center, you must work 12 hours on international tasks to demonstrate your work ethic. Once at the center, IHF requires its work-study volunteers to work eight hours a day on at-center and international tasks, six day a week. There is time to sightsee and tour the nation, but work is always the first priority. IHF depends on its volunteers to function and to love the children. If you are not prepared to devote this time to work, you should look elsewhere for your service experience.

All work-study volunteers will be on probation for their first week at the center. During this time you will be evaluated by the children. If you are deemed abusive or not safe or the children are fearful for any reason, you will be asked to leave. This does not happen often but sadly has had to be implemented to protect the children.

Upon the completion of your term of service at the center, you will receive an IHF Certificate of Graduation from our CEO, Carol Sasaki. The certificate will detail your work and experiences while at the center and grade your performance.

Cost: IHF is committed to offering a flexible, affordable service experience. Upon acceptance as a work-study volunteer, you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of USD $100 which will be credited toward your weekly fee upon arrival. Once at the center, work-study volunteers pay only USD $100 a week to cover the costs for their training and room and board, both very simple. If you commit to serve for six months or longer, you must only pay USD $1200.

Volunteer Type: Building schools, community development, childcare/children, culture, curriculum planning, disability issues, economic development education, English teaching, health, health care, health education, homelessness, hospital, housing, human rights, literacy, marketing, medicine, nutrition, orphans, popular education, primary education, street kids, teaching, women, water, writing, youth, youth development, academic reinforcement, AIDS/HIV, appropriate technology

Qualifications:

Before beginning to serve at a center, all work-study volunteers are required to complete 12 hours of online work with our international task teams such as Community Outreach, Fundraising and Photography.

Volunteers with IHF must speak English fluently and have a great attitude. They must also be mature, responsible, team players, fast learners, flexible and interested in global change through education and service.

Most importantly, our volunteers must have an open heart and a willingness to help others and a passion to make a difference!

To qualify to serve at a centre, volunteers must complete 12 hours of work on one of the teams, and they continue to participate on the team once at the centre.

Before beginning to serve at a center, all work-study volunteers are required to complete 12 hours of online work with our international task teams such as Community Outreach, Fundraising and Photography.

Volunteers with IHF must speak English fluently and have a great attitude. They must also be mature, responsible, team players, fast learners, flexible and interested in global change through education and service.

Most importantly, our volunteers must have an open heart and a willingness to help others and a passion to make a difference!

Help Haiti earthquake victims

As we all know a series of strong earthquakes recently hit Haiti, causing widespread devastation. Millions of people are homeless or missing, in addition to those killed and seriously injured.

Undoubtedly there are many projects aimed at helping the people of Haiti these days.

Many people are helping the earthquake victims in Haiti with a contribution to Global Charity Association (GCA). GCA is a USA-based non-profit charity organization, but is active on a global basis.

Global Charity Association assists individuals and families directly. When money is donated, it is given directly to the people who need help-in their hands! Your donation within this humanitarian project will directly affect the life or lives of a specific person or family.

Their approach helps more directly than usual and with less administration costs. GCA volunteer teams work 0-24 h per day. This helps donors in countries around the world, because GCA is one of the most readily available charity organizations in any time zone.

GCA, as one of a few trusted organizations can give you the power to make a difference and help people in Haiti directly. Your donation to the Global Charity Association (GCA) will support people with injuries directly, or put food on the table or a roof over the heads of those who've lost everything.

Volunteer English Teacher - Thailand

Volunteers will be teaching English at one of the ten under-funded schools in our local area, along with the supervision and help of a Thai teacher. The volunteer will be responsible for preparing their own lesson plans, but help from a TM Volunteer staff member is always available. We want the volunteers to focus on creative thinking and imagination, and create a fun learning environment, as a change from the Thai curriculum. We want the students to learn English because they want to, not because they have to.

Volunteers will also be living within the community, learning about Thai culture, and the people's way of life. We want the volunteer to set a good example, to eliminate some of the stereotypes on foreigners. Basically, we need the volunteer to have fun, teach English and become part of a Thai community.

Want More Money ?

Dear Friend.
Imagine for a moment that you're a singer or a musician and you've penned a song or a piece of music that has suddenly become very popular.
So popular in fact that the whole world seems to be listening to it. (Paul McCartney's 'Yesterday' springs to mind which apparently is played somewhere in the world every 7 minutes!)
Every time your piece of music is played--you get paid by receiving royalties! Isn't that fantastic ?
Now' you may not be able to sing a note or know anything about music, us neither, BUT what if there was another way to attract a regular monthly income like a royalty ?
Wouldn't you want to know about it ? Of course you would !
It is called a residual income and it is like being paid a royalties. But unlike Paul McCartney, you don't need any particular flair or skill and you need no previous experience.
You would be giving away FREE products and not only would you receive a residual income you will also be receiving share options.
This is the easiest way we know. To build a residual income.
The other good news is that you won't be paying us a penny to find out how it's done.
That's not how we make our money !
We are not asking you to send us any money to find out how to build this fabulous income. Either now or at any time in the future.
Let us ask you a question....
This may sound crazy but if you knew it was possible to earn £2000 - £10,000 per month and retire in 3-7 years is that the kind of business that you'd like to hear about and take a look at ?
We assure you that it will be well worth your while. We certainly wouldn't even consider contacting you if we thought otherwise.
All you need to do to find out more is call our 24hr information line today!
It is a standard rate call so the cost is only a few pence.
We hope you'll have just a few minutes to spare right now. It could literally change your life! The concept of this business is amazing. The potential quite staggering.
The number is 0208 955 5678
Listen in now - don't let this pass you by!

Please listen to this first, it will tell you more about this amazing business and it will allow you to quickly evaluate weather it's what your looking for
If it is of interest we urge you to send for our FREE no-obligation information pack that will tell you everything you need to start building that fabulous residual income.
Please note we openly discourage time wasters, therefore only email or call us once you have listened to the overview and if you are genuinely interested in a serious and worthwhile wealth-building venture that is capable of bringing you a monthly residual income and one that eventually you could retire on !
