Coalbrookdale Darby Multifuel Stove (used)

£ 450.00

Description 66 views

USED: Coalbrookdale Darby Multi-fuel stove with back boiler.
Some damage in need of repair.

The 'Darby' model of stoves, (from the world famous Coalbrookdale Foundary),
are well known and respected. for there efficiency and durability and output,
and as a result, are a much sort after choice of stoves to heat big rooms.

Boiler has a leak and will need to be checked over and or repaired and pressure tested before connecting to any hot water / heating system.

However, if you are not connecting to hot a water system it can be used as a 'stand alone' multi-fuel burner,
to heat the room where it is fitted.

The stove will require fire bars and replacement glass.

The outer case on the left 'side panel' has a break near the bottom (see pictures),
but does not affect performance, and is still attached to the stove.

The ash pan door hinges are broken, and will need replacing, but the door can still be closed and locked.
The ash pan itself is well worn and will need replacing.

Parts for the Darby are still accessible on ebay.

The stove has surface rust due to standing outside, but it will wire brush off.
A lick of stove paint too, wouldn't go amiss!
